children's Ministry
Our vision:
Our vision for YCC Children’s Ministry (ages 0 - 11) is to Engage, Equip, and Encourage leaders, parents, and children to love and serve God.
We work to oversee the safety and educational needs of all children as we endeavor to develop and equip passionate leaders to serve Christ. The Gospel with the goal of salvation is taught. Solid Biblical knowledge is developed so that students can find, fulfill and live God’s purpose for their lives.
what to expect:
On Sunday mornings at our 10:30am service, families are welcome to drop off Nursery and Preschool-aged kids, at class. Families and Elementary aged kids meet together in the sanctuary for worship and prayer. During the service, kids will be dismissed for JAM (Jesus and Me) our class for Elementary kids (grades 1st-5th.)
SPECIAL FAMILY SERVICES | It's our heart as a church, to help train up a child. This means even in practicing and experiencing worship at church on Sundays. We're starting something special! On the fourth Sunday of each month, we will hold a "Family Service" in the sanctuary. Meaning that the families and kids of all ages, will stay together for worship and prayer. After a short children's message by our Pastors, the nursery and preschool kids will be released to their classes, while the JAM kids will be asked to stay in the sanctuary with their parents for the remainder of the sermon.
