YOUTH Ministry

we exist to:

Equip middle school and high school age students (grades 6th-12th) to deepen and share their faith in Jesus Christ by:

  • Providing opportunities to share the Gospel with each other and our community.
  • Facilitate a community-based approach to fellowship and healthy activities for Yacolt's youth.
  • Grow together in a relationship with Jesus & support each other in our journey to be like Him.
  • Create an atmosphere that promotes an identity in Christ, God's Word as our source of Truth and a view of God that changes the way we live every day.

HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT:

On Tuesdays nights from 6:30-8:30pm, students and adult leaders gather at the church to play games, have some fun, and study the Bible. There will be a snack and students will break off into smaller groups (middle school boys, high school boys, middle school girls, and high school girls) to dig deeper. This is a great time to ask questions, grow in community, and pray for each other.

Upcoming Events

Hang tight while we look up scheduled events...

Brice Musgrave

youth Pastor

Yacolt Community Church was instrumental in my spiritual growth as a teenager. From here my journey of following Jesus lead me to spend 2 years in 21 different countries on the Logos II missions ship. I then studied for my BA in Cross-cultural Ministry at Bethany College in Minnesota, which is where I met my amazing wife Kellie, who was also a graduate from the same school.

We have together, with God’s help, spent 19 years building a family and working to reach an unreached mountain people group in Asia. I have a certificate in ice cream making from Penn State University, love making ice cream, working with nomadic yak herders, playing soccer, and most all love Jesus.

Now I have the privilege of returning, with Kellie and our 8 kids, to Yacolt Community Church to build a love for Jesus and the Word of God into a new generation of youth, the greater Yacolt community, and to the ends of the earth.
